Heat butter & oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onions & sauté until they turn golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste &cook for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
Pour in the tomato puree and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
Reduce the heat to low and add the fresh cream. Stir gently to combine. Slowly pour in the milk and mix well. Simmer the gravy for 5-6 minutes.
Add the cubed paneer to the gravy and gently stir to coat the paneer with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
